Description: An article about how a team manager can reach targets
Instructions: Read the sentences below and answer the questions or fill in the spaces
A supervisor’s or team leader’s job is to encourage (or help) you to reach your targets. It is not only to encourage you to reach your targets but also to keep track of the targets that you have reached and record them in a computer. Different workplaces have different ways of recording targets. Some will use recording sheets and send these through to another person to type into a computer. Others will have to type the data straight into a computer.
Supervisors or team leaders all have different ways of encouraging you to reach your targets. Some will be friendly and talk to you a lot about targets. Others will not be so friendly but be sterner and harder on you. It is good if you can find a team leader who you work well with and you respect. If you like your team manager then you will be able to reach your targets faster than if you do not like him or her.
