Description: A short poem about one day
Instructions: Read the poem and answer the questions
One Day
One day I will be lost in a dream and come out and see that the world has changed
to be a better place than a minute ago
One day I will realise that the world is not changing at all, but going back to another time, but I am not sure what time that is
One day I will be happy to know that things only change bit by bit
One day I will remember that I had a great childhood
One day I will realise that I cannot recreate my childhood
One day I will also realise that my parents were ok and did their best
They worked hard and diligently and tried to be good parents
We had great holidays, great food and guests at home
One day at a time is the way to go
One day
