I worked as a Senior Staff Nurse for the Bangladesh Army starting from 16th May 1983 to 15th February 2001 and was posted to different Combined Military Hospitals (CMH) of Bangladesh. Some of my duties and responsibilities were as:
- Communicating and establishing Rapport with patients, doctors, nurses and other allied workers
- Managing and conducting the general nursing procedures
- Managing all types of patients, medicines, equipment, junior nurses and other allied workers.
- Managing normal, critical and emergency patients in different situations
- Conducting normal delivery, assessing maternity patients for caesarian section and managing newborn babies in maternity ward and operation theatre.
- Conducting health education to patients, relatives of patients, junior nurses, pregnant women and other allied workers.
